Royal Cup Coffee, a premier importer and roaster of specialty coffees and fine teas wanted to invest in cutting-edge manufacturing updates to keep pace with its rising consumer base and sales.

Royal Cup鈥檚 strategic plan revealed the need to both renovate an existing facility and build a new one. The project scope included a new green bean receiving facility with a truck parking lot, upgrades to the existing roasting area with a new roaster, additions to an existing building with a lower parking lot, and an expansion of the existing warehouse with a forklift and pedestrian bridge. Additionally, upgrades were done to an existing building for Safe Quality Foods (SQF), development of networks and interfaces for existing and new process equipment data collection and transfer, and controls for the existing roasters were updated.
